our school as one of our best assets. Our parents and staff takes so much joy to support new parents and children to make them really feel at ease with extreme comfortability as they gradually get adjusted to our school policies and schedules depending on the pupils class group, age, and interpersonal demonstrated skills and character. Therefore, on these very special, important and exciting days for both of you and your child/children, we have discovered that our general tips and hints have gone a long way to help parents prepare their children for the new school adventure at Gramax Schools.
Here are a few helpful hints for our prospective parents:
• It will help your child / children if you can kindly make plenty of time available in your own way and approach to talk with your child / children about their forthcoming adventure.
Try as much as possible to be very patient with your child/children and explain the importance of going to school to them, especially the benefits of meeting other children as playmates, learning new things, and having a bigger playground to discover new games, etc. It is very important that you seek feedback from your child /children by asking them to tell you in their own words what they understood to benefits by going to school, ask them why they like it so much and also ask them in avery friendly way what their concerns are and give them easy reassurance about their fears and concerns so that they are eagerly looking forward to go to Gramax Schools.
• On the first day at Gramax School, a very special and a big day in your children’s life, it surely helps if you could leave your other children, younger brothers or sisters, au-pairs, domestic servants, etc., with a relative or friend.During these days, we want your child/children to be treated like Kings & Queens that will get your 100% total attention so that they can feel really comfortable without too much distractions from other family members.
. Your total focus and attention in making your child/children feel at ease at Gramax School will go a long way in determining the length of time such child/children will quickly become independent and requiring less of your time and presence whenever they come to school. It is a great investment towards the indecency of your child/children which only the parents can make possible with of course usual support from Gramax School staff and co-parents as well.
• As parents, kindly remember always that you are very welcome to stay for as long as you wish with your child during these early days at Gramax School. Kindly try as much as possible to have secured holidays, leave grants, opportunity to work from home from your work, etc., so that you will not be in a hurry to drop your child/children at school and leave urgently due to other pending appointments or commitments you have scheduled for these days.
• Reassure your child/children that you are not leaving them forever, they need to know that you will be coming back! Make your child/children understand and get their agreement that they are only going to spend short time at school and give them something worthwhile to look forward to after school when they are re-united with you or both parents later in the day. It is extremely important to note that if you have promised your child/children something nice and important after school, you should kindly honour the promise and make sure you deliver on those promises so that your child/children do not associate their presence at school as punishments or a place to listen to parents lies. You are not obliged to promise anything, however, if you do promise, please kindly honour your promise to your children always.
• Take an interest on what your child tells you about their new experiences, your house will look like an art gallery in no time- their drawings and paintings are very important to them and us and we surely hope that you will give them enough attention so that these paintings & drawings will be very important to you also.
